The Tremolo REvolution

harmonic inspiring magic

Two Tremolo Types: Tremmy and MyTrem

The Tremmy allows only pitch lowering, while the MyTrem supports both pitch lowering and raising for selected strings.

Tremmy: Strings are inserted from the back of the guitar and routed over both wheels.

MyTrem: The ball-end of the selected strings are inserted into the buckle, routed under the first wheel, and then over the saddle wheel.

Two Mounting Systems: Base R and Base B

R = Replacement – For musicians replacing existing Strat/Vintage tremolos
The R base is designed to fit into the existing cavity of guitars with Strat-style or vintage tremolos (with six-point or two-point mounting). Five self-tapping screws are subtly installed within the current routing – leaving no visible marks on the body. The neck angle is adjusted using shim plates in the neck pocket. The R version requires some manual skill, but no additional tools or machines.
Installation can be done on a table using the included accessories and tools.

B = Builder – For luthiers, manufacturers, and DIY guitar builders.
This mounting system is ideal for new guitars, but can also be used on existing instruments with Strat or vintage tremolos. The tremolo is mounted in an additional 7 mm deep cavity in the body.

What your MayTrem does depends on the setup
A setup change takes between 5 and 30 minutes and may include a string change, depending on the configuration.

Tremmy and MyTrem can bend chords in harmony and . . .

. . . shift intervals to a different pitch                    (Example: a perfect fifth G-D → perfect fifth E-A)
. . . shift chords  a different pitch                           (Example: C major C-E-G → A major A-C#-E)
. . . transform intervals into different intervals    (Example: fourth C-F → fifth A-E)

. . . transform chords into different chords          (Example: C major C-E-G → A minor A-C-E)
. . . change the pitch in reverse                              (Lowering the tremolo arm raises the pitch)
. . . create subtle, harmonic tremolo effects
. . . create extreme effects that heavily alter tuning
. . . keep strings fixed, but change the pitch of others

The Tremmy can . . .
. . . be a B-Bender (arm down - pitch up one tone. The other strings stay fixed.)
. . . make huge dives with all strings and come back in tune perfectly.

The MyTrem can. . .

. . . protect weak strings, especially the high E-string, by preventing it from upward bending.
. . . allow easy up-bending with great range of individual strings without affecting other strings.
. . . be a B-Bender (arm up, pitch up), and a harmonic tremolo (arm down)
. . . act as a G-Bender (as above)
. . . act as a B- and G-Bender (as above)
. . . shift the B, G, and D strings up as a chord or interval
